Description

Your adventure starts with a visit to the famous Paleokastritsa monastery on the hill. Inside you find a small orthodox museum with rare Byzantine icons, holy books, and other relics. You will also see an old Olive Press.
After enjoying the views over the bay of Paleokastritsa, you ascend through a forest of olive trees and cypresses, making the way down to the Corfu Aquarium, a lovely experience.

This is a great place for kids to learn about the marine life that inhabits the waters around Paleokastritsa. With a wide variety of fish and other sea creatures on display, your kids will be entertained and educated at the same time.

Next is a truly unique experience: a trip on a semi-submarine. This is a great way to explore the underwater world without getting wet. You and your kids will be able to see all sorts of marine life up close and personal, including colourful fish and coral reefs.

Of course, no family adventure in Paleokastritsa would be complete without some time at the beach. With crystal clear waters and golden sand, the beaches in this area are stunning. You and your kids can enjoy swimming, sunbathing, and building sandcastles to your heart's content. And when you're ready for a break, there are plenty of seafront restaurants where you can enjoy a delicious lunch while taking in the beautiful views.
