The driver must be at least 23 years and 25 years for the Citroën Grand Picasso.
Contact us if you are younger but have had your licence for three years.
The maximum age to rent a car is 75 years. Contact us, and maybe we can still help you with a car.
The minimal rental is one day.
A National Driving licence or international (All European citizens are permitted to drive to another Member State as long as they have a valid driving licence, while non-EU citizens must obtain an International Driving Permit (IDP)
Note: for the moment, for U.K. citizens, it is not necessary to have an international licence
TRAFFIC FINES:
The renter is responsible for all traffic fines during the rental period.
INSURANCE:
Collision Damage Waiver (C.D.W.)
With this insurance (included in the price), the renter's liability is limited to an excess amount in case of damage. The excess amount for all cars except the Citroën Grand Picasso is 650 Euros. For the Citroën Grand Picasso, it is 1000 Euros.
This insurance does not cover damages to glass parts (windscreen), wheels, tires and the car's underside.
Full Damage Waiver (F.D.W.) with €50 excess.
If you would like, you can add Full Damage Waiver insurance with €50 excess, with an extra daily cost of 6 – 10 Euros depending on the group of the car. With this optional insurance, you are 100% covered. In the event of damage or theft, you are only required to pay an excess of a maximum of €50). This insurance also covers the vehicle's roof, glass, mirrors and tires.
No credit card or cash deposit is required to rent a car with us.
Only the driver(s) stated on the contract can drive the car, always on tarmac (asphalt) roads.
Petrol (fuel): Paid by the customer. The customer should return the car with the same level of fuel. Helga Holidays cannot refund any money back!
Ferrying the car is prohibited without the authorization of Helga Holidays.
There is no cancellation fee, but please let us know as soon as possible, 24 hours before delivery.
The customer should keep the car clean till the collection. If the vehicle is not reasonably clean, we charge the client for cleaning the car.
Smoking in the car and wet bathing clothes means the vehicle needs to be chemically cleaned, and we charge the client €80.
Key Loss: The customer is responsible for the replacement costs if the keys are lost and damaged.
