Description
A trip to the Albanian coast is worth considering if you're looking for a unique and exciting adventure. Starting from the Port of Corfu, you can take a ferry and cross over to the port of Saranda in Albania. From there, you'll embark on a 20 km guided coach tour of the south coast's virgin shores. You'll pass by charming small villages and picturesque fertile plains along the way.
The trip's highlight is undoubtedly visiting Butrint, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The ancient town had been covered by silt and vegetation for centuries, but recent archaeological discoveries have provided us with some of the finest remains in the Mediterranean. At the top of the hill, you'll find the Venetian Castle, which offers spectacular views of the ancient city, the lake, and the endless fields below.
